My only new year's resolution was to go for a year without buying anything (as modeled by Ann Patchett), but I've broken that resolution already because a friend pointed me to this:
You were seriously gonna try to not do any non-essential shopping for a whole year? I could never. I mean, I don't buy a lot of trinkets or even toys like this, but still, I love shopping! I am always downsizing things I own, but I still love shopping!
My problem is that I'm an impulse buyer and need to get that under control. I spend a lot of money on things I absolutely don't need -- case in point: these toys! (But I just couldn't help myself).
I guess I’m not really an impulse buyer so much bc I mostly shop online due to being so homebound. I know when I go to Target for one thing, I do tend to leave with five, so it’s probably good I don’t go into actual stores more often. Especially with clothes. Man, I love new clothes c
