Sunshine all week

milly_gal asked me if the weather was still nice here in Tahoe. Here's my answer:



Yesterday was so good. After breakfast I colored my hair, then went to the gym for an hour. I laid out by the unheated pool (fewer screaming children) where the sun blazed down on me but the constant breeze kept me cool. It was heavenly, but I was cautious since I am so pale right now. I needn't have worried as my sunscreen worked a little too well and I hardly have any color except for the burn on the back of my wrist where I must have missed applying it. Then I cleaned up and went down to the lake, did some poking about in shops, and went grocery shopping. I tried a new recipe for dinner and amazingly, it turned out great (I am not a good cook). Then I caught up with my flist, worked on story art, and drank four (small) glasses of wine.

So far, no cold and the rest of my tooth hasn't fallen apart.

Today I'll be heading north to Incline Village to meet a friend for lunch and to explore that area. Pictures will likely be forthcoming.
